What is Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing is type of marketing by which we can promote our product or service through digital channels in organic or inorganic manner. These channels are mobile applications, email, search engines, websites, or any other digital channels.

In other words, Digital marketing is type of marketing services or products with the use of electronic devices. Digital marketing can be categorized into two main parts :

• Inbound Digital Marketing: In inbound digital marketing, we use channels like Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing(SMM),Pay Per Click (PPC), Email Marketing, Content Marketing for the marketing of product and services. In which we can further classified these channels in two types – Organic(Unpaid) and Inorganic (Paid) Methods. In which the methods like Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media Optimization (SMO) are used for getting traffic in organic manner . While on the other hand the methods like Search Engine Marketing(SEM), Social Media Marketing(SMM) and Pay Per Click (PPC) are the methods are used for getting traffic in inorganic manner.

• Outbound Digital Marketing: In Outbound Digital Marketing , we use channels like radio ads, print advertisements, SMS, MMS, Electronic Billboards and television for the marketing of product and services. Now this question is definitely arise that why we should opt digital marketing at the place of traditional marketing? Some of the important reasons are as following:
